The First Lady of the United States decides she wants a divorce from her older husband partly because she suspects he's involved in a crooked scheme. She has to go on the run with her young son, aided only by her Secret Service agent gone rogue and the young divorce lawyer she tried to hire. Arrayed against the four of them are all the resources of the United States government and a President who will stop at nothing to get her back, before the First Lady (or first son Randy) can reveal his intentions to the public. The premise of this book, that a sitting First Lady would divorce her corrupt husband, is no longer far fetched. Now that such an occurrence is a possibility we can all imagine, it’s highly entertaining to read Brandon’s version of how that might play out. It’s a highly entertaining book with well developed characters and a fascinating storyline. Once I started listening, I couldn’t stop!

This fast paced thriller would be a great movie

This seems like a good story, but I’m on chapter 4 and struggling to get through it. This AI narrations is monotone, annoying and the same for every character’s dialog. Really a bad listen. Not sure it’s worth it.

Good story, awful AI narration

I like the overall story it kept me listening. BUT, the AI reading left out emotion of the characters. Sentences ending in a question did not reflect the character asking the question.
The reading left a lot to be desired.

Good story line and surprise ending.

Good enough story to tolerate the many errors of the computer generated narration. Somehow, corrections should be made.

Computer narration is sub par
