Too short

Just when I feel I’m getting to know & like the characters the plot is winding down .

I’d love to hear Lisa develop the characters and then interweave them more tightly in her next books in the series

Too dark and slow moving for me

This book is well written and has some good characters, but it too dark for me and too slow moving. I didn't enjoy it very much. The performance is good.

Struggled with character development; weakened story line as major plot lines were lightly glossed over.

This book lacks strong character development. Story line tries to explore deep issues but ends up glossing over them lightly and unrealistically. Tries to go to heavier or deeper topics but then fails to develop them.
