Heyer is a master

I always tell people Heyer is equal parts Jane Austin, a good 1930’s screwball comedy ie Brining up Baby and a heavy dose of charm. If one of those appeal to you take the chance and try to not fall in love. Favorites - Grand Sofie, Frederica, Cotillion

Love an old fashioned romance

Really love the characters and always the end of georgette hare books! And of course a fisty girl

One of my favorite Heyer novels, full of wit, humor and the best kind of romance. The narration was outstanding

So good

The story was excellent, and the reader VERY good. The characters Georgette Heyer creates are so well drawn, the dialect and setting so historically accurate, that hearing this book was like going back in time and really being there.
