Elliot needs a Daddy, even if he doesn't know it yet.Is his old high school teacher the right man for the job?Or will their twenty-year age gap end the relationship before it can even begin?
Finding his way in life all on his own hasn't been easy for eighteen-year-old Elliot Hedrick, but he's managed to hold it all together—even if it's just by the skin of his teeth. Between his warehouse job and pursuing a career as a professional ballet dancer, he’s been working sixteen-hour days and is still barely making ends meet. He's fraying at the seams—and he's so damn lonely.Thirty-eight-year-old college professor Grant Weston has it all. The perfect job, the perfect house, the perfect life. But when an unexpected encounter in a locker room shower brings Elliot back into his life, Grant can't let the boy keep struggling all alone—even though Grant should know better than to get involved with a younger man. Not when his last relationship with one ended in total disaster. No—there are too many obstacles keeping Grant from taking what he really wants.Because what Grant wants is to make Elliot his boy. Is age really just a number? Whatever happens next is in Daddy's hands. Finding His Boy is the first book in a duet taking place in the Safe Harbor universe but can be read as a stand-alone and has an HFN ending. This book is a 90+K word slow burn, steamy romance that features a Daddy/boy relationship between two consenting men. No age play. Dual POV. There are explicit descriptions of sexual acts, so this book is intended for a mature audience (18+). TW: on-page physical assault (not between MCs), mention of sexual assault.

I’m not into dom-sub relationships myself, but this was a well written story that kept me interested. The “virtual voice” is terrible for romance novels. It seems cold, even clinical, and some words are intelligible. There are two places where there are “tears” in Elliott’s eyes, but the virtual voice actually read “tires!” I often wonder if someone is listening to these things before they release them. In other places the voice was simple garbled. In context it seemed that it may have been trying to interpret an emoji.
