Caroline Bingley has her heart set on becoming the wife of Fitzwilliam Darcy and the mistress of Pemberley. To hasten the match, she wants her brother Bingley to lease an estate close to Pemberley. But when Bingley blindsides Caroline and leases Netherfield instead, her plans to reel in Darcy start to spin out of control. And when Fitzwilliam Darcy falls for the captivating Elizabeth Bennet, Caroline sees her dreams of Pemberley slipping out of her hands. It will require drastic action to separate Bingley and Darcy from the Bennet women, but Caroline Bingley is a determined young lady used to getting her way, and she will stop at nothing in her quest to become a Darcy. Finding Netherfield is a lighthearted, comic novel; in the spirit of the time frame, it is a genteel romance where only the tea is steamy.

Caroline’s story

Overall a good story from Caroline’s perspective. Even though I have found the story to be somewhat dragging and without much of a plot. If you are interested in a narration more centred on Darcy and Elizabeth this might not be for you. Definitely not a relisten for me.
