As a picky reader, I absolutely adored this book

Ella and Hudson are two characters who will quickly capture your heart. I promise not to give away any spoilers! In a world where many college romance novels are filled with excessive and unrealistic drama, this book stands out by keeping it authentic. The relationship dynamic between Hudson and Ella explores a unique yet relatable theme that resonates with anyone who has experienced the highs and lows of young love.

Even though the book was released not long ago, I find myself eagerly anticipating a potential sequel. The way the romance unfolds is simply delightful; you can genuinely feel the emotions of the characters in every scene. Kai, the author, has done a remarkable job of crafting their journey, blending heartfelt moments with genuine interactions that make you root for their love story.

Overall, this book is a refreshing addition to the genre. I can't wait to explore more of Kai's works and see where she takes her storytelling next!

Not much of a reader, but this turned me into one!

I bought a physical copy from my local bookstore, The Lazy Daisy, and was told there was also an audio version. I decided to give audible a chance, and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely adored the narration, and the alternating POV’s. Ella is a strong and fierce female lead, and Hudson’s voice when talking about Ella is so captivating, but they’re also both vulnerable throughout. The detail of the world and the characters had me picturing myself there among them. I’ve already followed the author on socials, and am eagerly awaiting her next release. In the meantime, I’ll be looking into her older works as well since I enjoyed her writing style so much!
