Despite his admitted shortcomings, she cannot deny her love for the haughty Darrcy. Her days are filled with agonized despair, since she knows that any romantic relationship between them is impossible due to her lack of fortune or connections.

What will Elizabeth do? Can she remain friends with Georgiana and fight her feelings for Darcy? Will she have to sever the friendship, cutting all ties with the Darcy family and thus ending any possibility of a future with the man who dominates her every thought?

Cupid Hits Elizabeth First

I loved this story in print, and it just gets better with Benjamin Fife performing it. The story starts with an upside down love at first sight romance in which Elizabeth falls first! It’s very well written, as are all C. P. Odom’s books. He is a favorite and will be greatly missed. ⭐️

Dismayed by the narration

I looked back at the other reviews and I believe they were posted by friends of the author or narrator. The story has a great premise but the narration is too hard to listen to. The voice sounds like a 70 year old male who is reading like it’s a diction class. I double checked to make sure it wasn’t AI. I wish it had been.

Lovely Wrapped Up with a Bow!

Loved every path down each characters road with well written back stories to accompany their futures. Very well done and will be re listening over and over!

Friendship and love

It was both a pleasure and a privilege to listen to this story, in memory of a most remarkable author.

The story focuses on the friendship between Georgiana Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, and the many ways that this wonderful friendship evolves into many branches of other friendships and relationships within the families. Love, loyalty, hilarity and friendship is the keystones in this wonderful story.

The unbearable narrator!

I am interested in the story but the narrator!! Why? And this book is over 16 hours! I can't return it and have tried to speed it up. His breathy way of reading. I can't concentrate on the story! Unfair I have to be stuck with this book thanks to Audible blocking my return!
