Come and ride with the outlaw bikers in California in the glory days of the '60s and '70s.

During the wild times of choppers and gang brawls, action and violence that seemed to know no end.

Times that cannot be recreated today. Girls, guys, guns, and bikes. Living a life like no other.

This, and The Unknown Mongol’ are my favorite of the biker club biographies/autobiographies. Those is thoughtful, with less bluster, more interesting tales of the road, and far more humor, than any of the others. A really enjoyable read, and a must-read if you are a motorcyclist. Wish Dale’s other books would come up on Audible.

One of the best biker books

great stories and good times for a cool club.

What more needs to be said other than buy his book and enjoy the ride.

Good view of the 70's biker culture

I've read almost all of them, and yes, this is by far the most adventurous, clever and fun. The focus here is on personal freedom and the memory of freedom. Freedom of responsiblity and the hilarity of irresponsibility and it's sometimes dire consequences.

If you are looking for a book on open space and free will, this....this is the one.

Hands down the best biker book ever written!

I loved this book. The many stories of Dale's life I just found so humorous with the way they were told and the way the narrator reads it all.
I enjoyed it so much I'm going to go check out his other books next.

Quite a ride!
