Just enough angst

I really did love the story. The rift between Braxton and Maddox the second chance romance coming back together fake dating drama, horrible fathers. the story was really well written. it made me fall in love with the characters and the family and the series. And holy cow can I just say I wish I had Maddox for myself as a husband. Now I have to read the whole series and then go back and read all the other stories.

Loved everything about this book

Little angst and a lot of the love story.
Hamilton and Bloom are my favorite duo. Always go a great job!

Sweet second chance

Her Greatest Mistake becomes a really cute second chance romance! I've been excited to dive into the Hannah Cowan hockey world for a minute, and since this is a series starter it seemed like a good place to start. Cute characters, complicated history, a lot of fun and sweet moments, and a bit of spice. All in all a great introduction to Hannah. And the audio was really well performed.

And amen for no third act break-up! Maddox and Braxton had a great chemistry, steeped in both their past history and their current situation. Given the second chance vibes and what happened, I expected a bit more drama/angst, and I was actually really happy the past is forgiven and forgotten pretty quickly. Both Braxton and Maddox are likable characters, and I'm all here for a curvy FMC that is worshipped by the hero. And yes for cute animals. Maddox turned out to be SOO dreamy. I did think parts of this moved slow in the beginning, and I wish the spiced spiced a little harder LOL, but overall a really cute story.

Hannah introduces us to a whole world of characters. At times I did feel a bit lost with the secondary cast since it seems they come from an older series of hers (this is second gen). I couldn't keep them all straight (especially when I was taking this in via audio), but i'm certainly psyched about some future characters getting books. (NOAH!)

The audio was well performed and quite sweet.

Great Stroy

This book has it all, young love, young heartache, second chances, drama and a happy ending! I absolutely loved Maddox, he knew what he wanted in life and he was not scared to admit it. He was so loyal to Braxton even after she betrayed him. I am glad Braxton was written with remorse and she accepted her faults and set out to make it right. The relationship between these two was really beautiful, you can feel there is no one else for these two except each other. I recommend the book!
ALSO I love Teddy Hamilton, he can bring any character to life!
