They say violent delights have violent ends. They'll have to get through me first.

Juliet

My world is small and predictable—that's how I've designed it. It doesn't extend beyond my tiny studio apartment, the local bagel shop, and the bookstore I manage.

So, when a mysterious man crashes into the shop late one night while I'm doing inventory, I should be terrified. But I've never reacted normally to danger. And this man is as dangerous as they come… at least, for my heart.

Romeo

The Mafia is my family—the only thing I've ever known and all I've ever needed.

Until her. Our worlds aren't meant to collide. My life is darkness, and she is light, but I can't stay away any longer.

When her life is in danger, the darkness within me bursts to the forefront. We might be star-crossed lovers, but no one will keep me from my Juliet.

His Juliet is a spicy, dual first-person POV mafia romance with an age gap, hurt/comfort, mental illness rep, and jealous/possessive hero obsessed with his girl. This book is a standalone that ends in an HEA. For mature listeners. A complete list of content warnings can be found on the author's website. Narrated in duet style.

Love this series so far. The books are really well written and the audio is amazing. Teddy and Lee do a spectacular job!! The only complaint I have is the lack of groveling in the books these 2 have arsehole moments and Romeo did wrong and it was like immediate forgiveness. Other than that love it!!!

Absolutely love 💕

I had to immediately dive into the second book of this series and wow, it was so good. These two were absolute perfection.

Romeo is on the run from a man known only as the Butcher when he ducks into what he thinks is an empty, unlocked building. Instead, he comes face-to-face with a woman casually eating pizza at the checkout counter. Both are completely shocked. Juliet is the manager of the bookstore and had forgotten to lock the front door while doing inventory. She’s understandably terrified by this giant, tattooed stranger but Romeo’s unexpected charm quickly puts her at ease. When Juliet has a panic attack, Romeo instinctively steps in to calm her, and the two end up spending the night talking in the bookstore until Romeo gets an urgent call. From that moment on, an unlikely friendship forms, one neither of them expected. They quickly become each other’s calm in the chaos.

Romeo is the right-hand man to Matteo (from book one), and together they’re trying to track down the Butcher and dismantle a rival mafia that’s attempting to bring sex trafficking into the city. Romeo is often gone handling business, but whenever he’s with Juliet, he finds peace until the rival mafia targets her. When Juliet is nearly taken, Romeo brings her home to protect her.

Juliet struggles with agoraphobia and severe panic attacks, and change terrifies her. Ever since her parents were murdered and she was thrown into the foster system as a child, she’s carried deep trauma that still affects her daily life. Watching Romeo gently support her while never trying to “fix” her was everything. This group has been such a blast to read so far, and I’m already dying to jump into the next book.
