Odd narrator

The story line is somewhat interesting but it is hard to concentrate on the story with the male narrator for a female character. And his tone and inflection sometimes does not match the spirit of the scene he is reading.

I’m thinking it would be better to just read it

I don’t like to criticize anybody and I’m not trying to but…why would you use a male voice for a female part? The narrator is not bad…it’s just that his voice does not fit the part and it very noticeable. I prefer audible books because my eyes are not as dependable as they used to be. Please…choose wisely before you select your narrator.

Come on it is a female main character and a guy is reading it?? Hopefully the other books are not read by him.

I would’ve rather had a female voice than a man’s voice. That was the only downfall great book.
