Wonderful

I will never tire of Rebecca Yarros books. This novella is no exception. Her writing it superb. The narration is spot on. Full of emotion and love.

The freedom theme

This was a steamy story that gave a heartfelt hug to the reader through tears and family love.

Loved it!!

Great narration and lovable characters, well most of them anyway. I loved River and Avery’s best friends to lovers story.

An OK short story

I am not a fan of short stories ....I didn't notice this was one of those when I purchased it. The story was ok, but the male narration was NOT easy to listen to - especially when he mimics a woman's voice. If I had to redo, I wouldn't take my time to listen to this.

Not a lot to dig into

Not sure why this was made into a stand alone book… the last book in the series is by far the best.
