How to Assassinate an Incubus

Step 1: Disguise yourself as his new butler.

Step 2: Fall in love?

Lucian Darksbane has been tormenting men since the Middle Ages. The charming, sadistic incubus has left a trail of broken hearts and ravaged bodies in his wake. But now, he lives a secluded life in his countryside manor, haunted by his dark past.

Luckily, Lucian’s delicious new butler may be exactly what he needs to… distract himself.

Wilder Wrenfield is hired to assassinate the mysterious demon of Thornwood Manor. Audacious, wild, and too brave for his own good, Wilder jumps headfirst into the mission. That is, until he lays eyes on his irresistible target.

Now, even Wilder’s dreams are no longer private, as Lucian inflicts his perverted desires on the unsuspecting assassin.

And the scariest part is how much Wilder loves it.

Insatiable Incubus is a standalone MM monster romance. Set in early 20th century England, it features enemies to lovers, forced proximity, kinky scenes, and fated mates.

So I picked this at random and actually found the story very interesting. It's a totally new concept that I found refreshing.

The virtual voice was a little weird at times & I can see why some people don't like it at times.

But again if you can get past the Virtual Voice and really pay attention to the story then you will enjoy the book.

It's different. But in a good way.

It's barely a step up from voice-to-text. Worse in some places because it will randomly slip into a different accent for a few words before reverting to generic british. None of the characters are given distinct voices, none of the accents indicated by the text are used, and the way it mangled the phonetically written accents would almost be funny if it weren't outright insulting. I honestly tried to give it a fair shot but it's just a mess.

AI narration too crappy to tolerate
