What drives people like Napoleon Bonaparte, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, Silvio Berlusconi and everybody else for that matter? What do we have in common? Why this hankering for power over others?—Once again Osho has some astoundingly simple insights on the issue.

"Once you have tasted your inner being, all greed, desire for money, power, will simply evaporate. There is no comparison. You have found God himself within you; what more can you desire?"

This was all about what most men consider to be power and Osho explains his own perspective. He makes it clear that most peoples concept of power has become domination. What's really interesting is he developed this idea and spoke about famous people like Buddha in the beginning when he was trying to awaken or Mahavira the leader of the Jains and many others who crucified their bodies to achieve a goal. He mentioned people that sleep in thorns for example are attacking their own body and the ones that starve themselves: the main point he made is that this is set in the ego and is all about the domination of the body and these men should not be respected for doing these things to their bodies because the body can't fight back. He arrives to the conclusion that if you think that power is domination then you are wrong. Osho says that if you meditate and find God that you will have no interest in money or fame or power. The desire to have power shows something is missing inside and more often than not it shows the person has an inferiority complex. Go within and meditate and find your own center and you will find peace. Once you are at peace with yourself, this desire to seek power will cease to be an issue.

Osho describes what makes people desire power and then reveals where real power is found.
