A vigilante is stalking the streets of Kansas City administering his own brand of justice when the justice system fails.

Criminals are being executed right under the noses of the police department.

In Lady Justice and the Vigilante, a new recruit to the City Retiree Action Patrol steps up to help Walt and Ox bring to an end his reign of terror.

But not everyone wants the vigilante stopped. His bold reprisals against the criminal element of Kansas City have inspired the average citizen to take up arms and defend themselves.

As the body count mounts, public opinion is split - is it justice or is it murder?

A moral dilemma that will leave you laughing and weeping.

This book is well written and I really enjoyed it. I also thought that George Kuch did a wonderful job narrating. It was just the perfect combo of good story writing, great characters, and talented narrating that makes this book great. I was kindly provided this free audiobook code by the author, and this is my voluntary unbiased review.

I received this book free from the author, and this is my unbiased opion. I think this is my favorite in the series. I love the characters. And the story kept my interest. the story takes on some relevant issues. I agreed with some and disagreed with others. but the story was presented it in a way that did not preech too much. like I said my favorite.

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Wow! I was totally surprised by the ending of this book! Once again, I couldn't put it down and listened to it all in one sitting. The only bad thing about this book was the fact that it ended and I have to wait for the next audiobook. I know I could read the books, but after hearing George Kuch bring Walt and the gang to life, I just can't bring myself to go back to reading the books. The audiobooks are just so much of a treat to experience.

What did you love best about Lady Justice and the Vigilante?

That it was a different story than all the rest. Almost a continuation of Dr. Death were you are left questioning your beliefs. Robert Thornhill is really smart in keeping a series like this alive with new and fresh ideas.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love them all but this time around I enjoyed Mary the most. Not only has she saved Walt in the past and vice versa but this time her story had me engaged, worried and in the edge of my chair.

What about George Kuch’s performance did you like?

Is there anymore than can be said about the great George Kuch that hasn't been said? Pure briliiance.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moral dilemma one finds themselves with throughout the story. There is a great antihero origin here.

Any additional comments?

This was by far one of my favorite in the series. The way that Mr. Thornhill is able to breathe life into the series in order to keep it fresh and still maintain his quality of humor, suspense, excitement is far above the rest. I was beginning to get worried that Walt would get kidnapped again, or face the same problems again but Robert keeps coming up with new ways to move the story along. Brilliant work. I have never been as hooked to a series as I am to Lady Justice. Just like all the Lady Justice books I have read, it can be read as a stand-alone but is so much better if you read them in order. This book is great! So much stuff going on with this crew and yet they make it through the other side with minimal impact. I love listening to this group! Narration like all the other books is absolutely perfect!
