Loved the story

This was a a great story and the characters were very well done. Reese had me lol. It felt like there was a lot of parts that were kind of filler. The voice acting was well done. Going to recommend this book to be carried at my local book store. Excited to start book 2!

Would have loved more spice

Jacob Morgan delivers a compelling performance that elevates the emotional tension and slow-burn pacing of this enemies-to-lovers, angels-and-demons romance. His narration captures Nick’s yearning with a tender intensity that makes every moment of desire feel earned, while also bringing humor and spark to the banter between characters. Even when the plot dips—Reese’s arc feels underdeveloped and Dani’s choices occasionally frustrating—Morgan’s delivery keeps the story grounded and engaging. The spice is mild but present, and his voice adds just enough heat to make those scenes memorable. One standout moment: “I think you’re…” lands with quiet vulnerability that lingers. Overall, a solid 7/10 listen with 30% laughs, 5% tears, and a narrator who makes the journey worthwhile.

I love Dani

I loved this book. I loved the audiobook. Can’t wait for the second audiobook to release! The plot was amazing and it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Unnecessarily long but ok

This fantastical story between good and evil is fairly well thought out. However, it is entirely too long imo. Especially when it's not wrapped up with a pretty bow in the end. Not a true cliffhanger but you're dangling.

The fighting scenes were so long and the characters have random powers thrown in here and there to fit the moment it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. These scenes become numerous and long towards the end.

Thank goodness for GREAT NARRATION and JACOB MORGAN! He is the GOAT. Honestly if there were any other narrator I would have DNFd this one. He brings so much to the characters it' saves this drudge-fest.
The female narrator,Katrina Medina is new to me and is fabulous. I will seek out her work. Being a duet vs dual also works in this books favor, especially with so many characters.

There are a few mildly spicy scenes about midway. They are worth waiting for just for Jacob Morgans work. And luckily, these were long chapters as well.

I love the duet narration they did an amazing job . This story is so different and i love everything about it . I need the audio for book two and three right now
