The one decent story about the robot artist is very late 60s early 70s genre and it's well written just the topic is basically find happiness in menial labor and don't try for anything better. Kind of not the best message. The rest honestly are a waste of time

Maybe one decent story

Never having watched the series, I don't have that to compare with, but, I have to say, this is the most fun I have had reading a scifi anthology like this in a long while. It is very reminiscent of classic Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction magazines, from like the 80s, and early 90s. The diverse variety and excellent writing showcased here kept it fun and unpredictable all the way through with enough action and kick to keep you reading on through. I loved it so much, I've got volumes 2 and 3 to start now as soon as I finish this review. The narrators here helped the experience become a blockbuster piece of work that will be hard to top. I can't name everybody here, but you guys, every one of you, made this a phenomenal reading experience. Thank you!! One happy reader here. Thanks again. Enjoy guy, and happy reading!!

The best scifi in a long while.

Narration is fair to good. Reveals more details to the series. Would recommend to fans of the show.

A solid supplement to the series.

I really enjoyed season 1 of “Love, Death, & Robots” and enjoyed hearing the text version of the stories. You get to see what was left on the cutting room floor to hit the Netflix runtimes. Honestly, I come away impressed with how well they got to the heart of the stories. Still, nice to get to the fullest versions. I’m not just saying that because a robot made me. *blink* *blink* *blink*

Good collection and interesting comparison

Big fan of the Netflix series, especially this season and wanted to look at the source material. Was not disappointed. Suits, Sonnies Edge, Secret War and Marlo Kloos stories were standouts for me as was beyond the Aquila drift. Would recommend this collection to anyone.

Great collection but some were better than others
