Forbidden Romance

This is the fourth book in the New York Bratva series, a dark mafia romance. Yakov and Mila's forbidden love story is slow-paced and filled with passion, angst, intrigue, danger, and twists and turns. Shane Martinez and Clinton Woodhams did a good job bringing this story to life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lovely entertainment

I enjoyed this story. The story line was unique and different from any bratva story that I have read. A broken man is imprisoned in a mafia prison and a lady therapist is assigned to study him.
From the beginning, the passionate tension is there. They are attracted to each other easily. The romantic times when they happen are well written. Enough detail on both sides without being too wordy.
The voice actors do a very good job. Their voices are clear and warm. They really made the characters come alive.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I loved reading this mafia romance, but the narration in the audiobook brought out some amazing nuances.

Holy cow, really intense!

This is a good dark romance story. I think it's reminiscent of the origin story of Harley Quinn with the Joker. Just made Mafia style. I think anyone that enjoys dark romance stories would like this too.
