Damien’s still stuck pretending to be Levi—an untalented mage with way more enemies than friends.

He’s got all of Levi’s messes to clean up, from strained relationships to Sylvia, a fellow first-year student who isn’t shy about her disdain. And suspicion.

To make matters worse, Damien is plagued by strange visions that offer unsettling glimpses of the future, making his attempts to survive even more complicated. The real nightmare, however, comes from his latest vision: a chilling sight of himself and several students lying dead in the infirmary.

With time running out, he has to figure out how to stop this dark future from coming true while dealing with Levi’s tangled past and the secrets that could blow everything wide open.

I read the first 3 books now, and I think the 1st remains the best. The first two books end on rather steep cliffhangers though, so that's not great. The 3rd book at least ended somewhat satisfactory. It feels like these 3 books should have been one book.

Anyway, I hope there's more coming because the story is obviously not at an end.

Good, but weaker than the first.

The story continues to draw you in with a likable MC and an easy flowing storyline. There are some plot holes and sections where I would have liked to see more background information. Overall, it’s still an enjoyable read. The relationship development shown throughout the story flow naturally.
