Twelve women connected by the death of another, realizing what they most want from life and reaching for it - this is the year of discovery, the year of new beginnings.

Lexie had a family and a future she thought was set, then a burst appendix changed everything. She found herself battling prescription drug addiction, until she lost her husband and her daughter. Trying to put back the pieces, she discovers the biggest obstacle is her own self-doubt, but Lexie must find a way to overcome it or lose her daughter forever.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it inspiring. In the third book of this series, Lexie is caught up in the domino effect of a friend's sister death. Lexie has worked hard to get her life back into order for her daughter and herself after her divorce. It's not been easy but now everything is going wrong. With the help of her friends' not so gentle pushing, Lexie takes some risks for the first time. The characters in this series have been so well written, it's hard to believe that they get better with each book. The story feels so real, everyone has been to that point at some time in life. The author has a special talent to create characters and stories that feel real and the narrator brings every story to life. Looking forward to April.

Continuing on with the year of discovery, this is Lexie’s story.

Facing many hardships, including the possible loss of custody of her daughter, Lexie has hit rock bottom. She can either give up, or fight for what she wants...

Another fantastic collaboration with M.L. Hamilton’s writing and Kelley Hazen’s narration! I’m so looking forward to seeing what’s to come in April.

March: The Year of Discovery, Book Three was a great book by M.L. Hamilton. Lexie had everything that she thought she wanted; a husband , daughter and what looked like a great future. Unfortunately when her appendix burst she would up battling a prescription drug habit. Now she is trying to piece her life back together and get custody back of her daughter. I really enjoyed reading Lexie's story as it is one that many people can relate to. I can't wait to read more of The Year of Discovery Series.

This will be a 12 short book series in 3rd book March is about Lexi a divorcee sharing custody of her daughter Vicky. She went through a lot of hard times with drug addiction, finding a job, going to school, eviction, and car and dying but she still fought. You have to listen to find out what happens. All of the characters are likable and real, Mika is still the troubled child and worry about her. Narration was great only complaint was too short but looking forward to next one to find out more of Destiny, Dario, Lexi, Vickie, Mattie, Henry, Rosie and many more. ML Hamilton really impresses me with the way she writes. I love how the message was conveyed in this book. The storyline is realistic. Lexie stole my heart in this book, with how self-sacrificing she was towards her daughter. She overcame so many obstacles, and had the perseverance to become the best she could be. Kelley Hazen was impressive with her performance. I could hear exactly who was speaking, and the emotions were so real. This listen is both a standalone and part of a series. So far, its my favorite of The Year of Discovery. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.
