At over 5 hours, this isn’t really a short, just a shorter story. I actually think it’s just right for a perfect escape. Big enough for a decent plot, short enough that it doesn’t drag out. Say ahhhhh!
This book can be read as a stand-alone but it’s more enjoyable if you’ve read books 1-15. Bonus: we get Natalie Montgomery & Roark of Trion from book 9 Her Mate’s Secret Baby. Then there’s Commander Grigg Zakara and Amanda Bryant from book 6 Mastered by Her Mates.
Miranda Doyle followed Natalie Montgomery to Trion when she moved back with Roark. Miranda was very hurt by a dysfunctional ex husband and she asked for a relationship with Trion Doctor Valck Brax to help her heal emotionally. It evolved into Friends With Benefits but, eventually, that was no longer enough. Both are too afraid to say they want more, they’ve outgrown the previous limitations to their relationship.
While Brax tries to wrap up his previous commitments without contacting Melinda, she applies to the Interstellar Brides Program. Melinda is matched to Prillon Captain Trist Treval, 2nd in Command of Battlegroup Zakar. When Brax looks for Melinda he finds she was transported the day before. He has to chase her across most of the galaxy. Melinda has found in Trist what was missing from her previous relationships and Brax realizes his only chance at being in her life is to convince them to make him their Second.
I’m really enjoying this audio with three different narrators, one for each main character. Luvit!

Romance with LOL

This story was great and well written. Many parts were funny especially with the males.

Nice Story

I enjoyed that this book as it had less fighting drama. I hope the next one has the same theme. I want to enjoy more happiness with the couples.

Loved this.

Plenty of spice and drama, I also liked the intense action scenes and the triple POV. it makes for a more immersive experience for the listener.

ENJOYABLE

Enjoyable lots of twists and turns but fun to follow the characters and the storyline. Interesting to to see what happens. You’ll enjoy it.
