A guide to healing relational patterns, setting boundaries, and building the emotionally healthy love you’ve always wanted.

For years, I struggled in romantic relationships—trapped in people-pleasing, conflict avoidance, and emotional disconnection. I didn’t know how to set boundaries, communicate honestly, or feel safe being myself. Like many people living with the effects of relational trauma, I was stuck in survival mode—longing for intimacy but afraid to be truly seen.

Whether you're struggling with CPTSD (chronic PTSD), recovering from toxic relationships, navigating attachment wounds, or simply want to show up more authentically in love, this book will help you:

  • Understand your emotional patterns and triggers
  • Communicate with honesty and curiosity
  • Create safety, trust, and intimacy with your partner
  • Break free from performance, people-pleasing, and self-betrayal
  • Build a relationship rooted in mutual respect, care, and desire

To be honest, I got halfway through and could not finish this book. I am a therapist and the tone in which he describes his past relationships, dripping with blame, calling out specific incidences that occurred, down to his partners sexual preferences, made me question his stance on confidentiality and leads me to believe that there is much bias here. Which is fine for fiction, but when seeking professional help it seems inappropriate and as if he has not fully processed the part he played in his relational patterns.

Take advice with a grain of salt and self reflection
