It distills down a huge amount of information into clear steps. I like the writing style, too – it’s motivating, not discouraging. The recipes are a very helpful addition, especially for someone like me who is not very creative in the kitchen -- I actually made cashew milk from scratch!. The detoxifying veggie soup with dill is delicious.

I almost didn't buy this book because I assumed it was for people who need to lose weight. After exploring further I saw that it is much more than that - it is an intelligent analysis of the most current research about how to eat to be healthy, feel good, and avoid chronic diseases. It is very well-written and accessible and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I like the conversational manner in which it was written. Sara adds her own humor and insights into her personal journey to better health. In addition to providing a solid plan to follow, reading this book with give you lots of valuable nutritional information, whether you follow the plan or not. Great information on the foods to avoid as well as healthy choices to follow. Well researched and written. I would strongly recommend.
