Steamy, Small Town Forbidden Romance.. YES, please

Connor Crais as Luther did it for me! He was perfection. The over all narration from both Erin Mallon(Kendra) and Connor was so good! I am loving how this was a duet as well. This was so good and I will definitely be re listening.

There was tension, forbidden romance full of longing glances, stolen moments, and the constant push pull of knowing they shouldn’t but wanting each other anyway every SINGLE TIME. Luther is protective, sexy, and unexpectedly tender, while Kendra is bold, witty, and relatable.

The age gap dynamic adds just the right amount of extra heat, and the small town setting makes the stakes feel even higher. This book was not only spicy and sweet but it was fun! The Bromances created between. Luther and Joe and Luther and Ethan had me giggling.

I could not put this down and did not want to!

Absolute perfection

This is such a steamy story!!!! The Daddy/Baby Doll dynamic is so well written that there’s not an ounce of cringe. There’s the perfect amount of angst. There’s the dynamite explosive attraction. The plot twists and little secrets (not too sneaky now) were fun to watch develop. SJ Tilly has a good habit of purposeful hints being dropped in her books if you know what to look for. I love a good HEA. Who doesn’t love adorable foxes? The banter not just between the main characters, but between the best friends is so wonderful. I love the sibling “drinking contest” because we love a good supportive sibling. Across the board I truly ate this read up and laughed so so many times.

Now…. Erin Mallon bravo X 1,000, per usual she slays as a narrator! Her emotion is so spot on in her reads. I love that it never sounds like she’s reading to you, but more like it’s a real conversation. She’s divine! Ahhhh Mr. Conner Crais as the male narrator sizzzzling for sure. I love a good vocally emotional narrator from the males perspective and there is a part where he gets choked up in the book and I’ll be dipped if this man didn’t nail that with absolute perfection. Amazing duet here truly! If you have been on the fence about audiobooks, take the leap with these guys and you won’t be disappointed.

And then do like I did, read every single book SJ Tilly has ever written in as many days.

The dialog was good, banter and the storyline good.Fun to add in a Fox, that was different!
