My Always One - Friends-to-lovers stand-alone

When we were young, Samantha Anderson was the girl down the street. For as long as I remember, she’s been my partner in crime, in adventures, and in almost everything. Sami is fun and sexy, my greatest confidant, and my best friend.

From early on, we vow that our relationship will never change - through thick and thin, we’ll remain always and forever in the friend zone. We will not cross that line.

After all, I’m not a forever kind of guy.

Then that line blurs.

We amend our agreement.

Best friends become friends with benefits.

Is this new agreement the key to our future? Or will I lose my best friend?

My Always One is a new, fun, and sexy friends-to-lovers contemporary romance. A steamy stand-alone, My Always One is not connected to any other of Aleatha’s Lighter Ones and may be enjoyed on its own.

One drunken night leads to more with her best friend. But her ex will not drop things.

My review
This story was sweet romance with many sexy bits. The storyline was good. I wish it had a little more drama or events or something more. Felt like it was missing something. It was not bad. The best friends falls in love after so long of being just friends.
The main characters were well done also. Great way of a back story making you feel more connected to them. The flash forwards made you feel you were part of the journey. The steam parts were good also. Well done how it was read and written.

Narrators review
They did a good job. But the female narrator was my favorite out of the two. I was not a fan of some voices the male narrator read for the female voice. She was able to switch her tone of voice a little smoother. But he was not so bad to reqret listening.

What I recommend this book?
Yes if you like an easy romance book. If you love the steam. This was a freebie for me and I don’t regret listening. I don’t know if I would re listen just cause that storyline is pretty easy to guess all the outcomes. Not bad. Sweet easy romance book with little drama. But this is just my taste. I believe most people who like romance books would like this one too.

Good freebie

The story was good but the language was a bit raunchy, especially around sex scenes. I really don’t think that even a “man whore” would talk to his best friend in that manner.

narrators were decent. it's just too bad the storyline was a bit chessy and how the story played out when dealing with the cheating ex.
