Royal taught me how to drive. Escorted me to my junior prom. Gave me my first kiss...among other things. He was my first taste of toe-curling, all-consuming, can't-sleep love.

We had our whole lives ahead of us. There was never anyone else for me but him. And then he disappeared. No letter. No explanation. Not even a good-bye.

I've spent the last seven years trying in vain to forget my first love, but just when I think I've finally moved on, guess who's back in town?

Good story, drags out.

I enjoyed the story, but it took way too long to get where it was going.

it kept me interested

It seemed a little drawn out and part of the story was wildly unbelievable. I stuck with it to know what happened to all the main characters.

Royal & Demi!!!

I absolutely loved their story!
Narration is great and really brings the story to life.

It is ok

I made it to the end and thought it was ok. I will not continue the series as it was not intriguing enough.

Childhood love

I enjoy books about childhood love and best friend's sister. Royal the love-struck romantic never gave up on Demi. Demi never understood why Royal never returned to her after an unexpected trip. Fast forward 7 years, and the real drama begins: so much angst, unexpected events, and sadness. I was disappointed with Demi's father. I'm glad this ended with HEA. Narrators were good. Worth my credit.
