Tan & Naudus are my favorite combo. Amazing storytelling skills from both the author and the narrator. They never disappoint. Please keep writing, Sue Lynn! And please keep narrating, Natalie.

An Intricate Story! Nicely Narrated!

I thought this was a standalone. Silly me, it’s right there in the description that it’s the first in a new series. Well, I will definitely be awaiting the next installment because I love a good triangle!

I was drawn to this book because I’m a Cinderella fanatic and although there is some small details taken from Cinderella, it’s more a story of Lost Royalty.

There’s magic, tournaments, a journey to rescue a kidnapped noble, solving many mysteries surrounding the FMC’s heritage, a villainous prince, and a deceptive ally.

Throughout the story, there are many surprising twists and daring escapes! The ending is a nice resting place before venturing on in the sequel. It’s not a cliffhanger but it left this reader eager to know what comes next! And who will win her jaded heart!

The audiobook is expertly narrated by Natalie Naudus and I highly recommend it!

beautiful descriptions and compelling, unpredictable plot

I loved this read, start to immediately before the finish... I can't wait for the next book!!! I was a little startled when the story ended... wasn't expecting the story to end before the unraveling of the overall mystery and suspense. I hope it's a brief pause before the continuation of the saga.
