The Apocalypse is the most fun Alex has had in his entire life.

He’s having a grand time fighting every challenge the System throws at him—and making up a few of his own along the way. His antics have earned him a few friends…and a hell of a lot more enemies.

The Outworlder Families, invading forces from planets long since Initialized by the System, have arrived to 274-50 to loot it of every resource and scrap of power they can get their thieving hands on.

They're deadly, ruthless, and will stop at nothing to get what they want.

The latest subject of their attention is a Town Token, a rare artifact that can create an incredibly powerful System-recognized town. It’s an immense opportunity that has every single one of them frothing at the mouth.

An opportunity that Alex just snagged out from right under their noses. The Outworlders aren’t going to be too happy about that…but that’s exactly what Alex is counting on.

Book two of this action-packed LitRPG Apocalypse series by Actus, best-selling author of Return of the Runebound Professor and Rise of the Living Forge. It's perfect for fans of The Primal Hunter, Hell Difficulty Tutorial, and 1% Lifesteal.

I love the book and the premise. However, I hate when authors start to aim for long extensions as opposed to moving the story forward. This book was 1/4th story and 1/2 environmental elaboration and 1/4 filler. I lost track of the amount of times characters tilted their head, i just started laughing at one point just imagining them being bobble heads. How did only 4 things get accomplished in 17 hours of audio. We are going to be in book 3 and only 2 weeks into the apocalypse.

loved the book!! had no slow boring parts just action and funny scenes all the way to the end. I can't wait for the third book to come out. hopefully the next one will be longer!

AWESOME book

Overall, storyline is enjoyable. The nail on the chalkboard for me is how insolent and childish the main character can sound. I can not discern if the narrator voice created this or the author intended this persona. I do wish I like him more but quite a hypocrite.

Enjoyable

why build a town few days travel from your enemy's city had is hunting you. in a place where an OP boss will appear in a few days to 'save' a few weak strangers with an towntoken outworlders would kill for.

if this sounds logical to you.. this is a story for you..

might give book 3 a try but if it's just as illogical as this one. I will return it.

the premise has promise but I hope this isn't going to continue to be a town building story.

Loved the story but the cliffhanger at the end almost felt like a "F You, buy the next book"

I am not sure how to feel
