Inspirational

This book was a sad and heavy read with an inspirational ending. I was left wondering if she ever made contact with the doctor again.

Moving, inspirational, beautiful

Perfect narrator, narration and pacing. Episodes of trauma and abuse featured, not overplayed or unnecessarily gratuitous. Well articulated characters, descriptive scenery- compelling, binged entire “book”. Best bio I’ve read in long time.

Very Raw

Such a very good and well written. My heart broke for the young girl and eventually woman in this book. Its heart wrenching, but it is a story of revival, survival, and healing.

Amazing book! It taught me “ What does not kill you makes you stronger.” I really enjoyed listening to this book!! Love you Nicky . You are a strong woman!
