Great Conclusion!

January 2023 Re-Read on Audio: I still love this story and these characters. As usual, audio is just as enjoyable for me but it gives you a different experience when to hear the emotions being spoken aloud. I have enjoyed Olivia King’s narration through all four books and also enjoyed the added narration from Adam Gold doing the chapters from Evander’s perspective. Highly recommend if you live fantasy romance.

Original Review: What a whirlwind of a story and fantastic conclusion to Rowan’s story! I had no idea how this was going to resolve but the authors did a great job wrapping up the story. I’m not usually a crier with books but this one almost got me in several places. There is a lot of character development in this book as Rowan and Evander learn how to be married all while dealing with the threat of death coming from multiple fronts. Definitely worth your time. My ONLY complaint is that I wanted a longer or further out in time epilogue.

An absolutely perfect and fitting conclusion for Rowan and Evander. I became so caught up and attached to these characters, this is just one of those stories that stays with you long after you finish reading it.
The audio narration is phenomenal and I highly recommend!!

Magnificent ending to an epic love story

This story makes you feel everything and the narrators did a fantastic job of making it more real. This is book 4 and is not a standalone.

Olivia has done an amazing job bringing this series to life through Rowan's eyes and adding Adam for the male POV chapters for this final book was just, dare I say, perfect!
I love this series so much and experiencing it again through these audiobooks has been fabulous!

Adam and Olivia? Do you mean Evander and Rowan?

Because they’re both perfect and I love them. Adam was an amazing choice to put a voice to Evander and I could seriously just listen to him 24/7. I do have to say though, it’s much easier to listen to Olivia speaking the male parts in her chapters than it is to listen to Adam try to sound like Ro. I giggle every time.

This series is the one that got me hooked on Audibles and it just keeps getting better. And that’s after having read the entire series first. My heart and ears are so happy.
