The time loop mechanic is used well: each reset matters, and Zale’s gains feel earned as he studies his failures, upgrades skills, and adjusts tactics. I especially liked the early “recon loops,” where he maps threats, tests builds, and prioritizes survivability over flashy power; that approach made his progress believable and satisfying. The world feels dangerous, the combat reads clean, and the twist of the goddess sanctum adds urgency. The opening throws you in quickly, so a few chapters are needed to settle in, yet the momentum and payoff make the ride compelling.

Increasing HP and unleashing more attack power

D. R. R. Hatch goes full D&D and offers listeners a massive title that will have fantasy fans jumping for joy. I really enjoyed hearing our protagonist describe his growth by testing his limits and from a first-person perspective and describe the pain he felt from training sessions and battles! “I gasped, cancelling the technique and stumbled back, eyes wide open”. I mean, this type of writing feels like we are getting a first-person perspective of what it’s like to be inside of a fantasy RPG, conjuring spells, magic, and raising HP, ready to thwart off insurmountable evils! Pretty cool! And very well written. The narrator is great too.
