Nonstop power gain

I truly enjoyed the narration. The story is a nonstop push from one fight to the other and the MC seems to be handed power constantly. There were significant power gains but the character growth felt slow to none.

Combat heavy

This Lit-RPG might not be for everyone. While it’s is preformed well, I’d say the first 2/3’s of it is very much the main character with only a handful of fleeting character interactions. This isn’t a bad thing, but does make for a very combat/training heavy opening. And even when other characters do come in to allow more conversation between characters later, there is still plenty of fighting still left. Which makes for a little repetitiveness to the story.

I feel like there is plenty of potential going forward now that a good foundation has been built, but those uninterested in combat heavy/less character moments might was to reconsider if this is the book for you.

Mid

Solid for a first attempt in the game. Nice and long time sink.

Spent a week getting through this and really nothing memorable. I can’t n even say turn your brain off fun because the action misses the wow factor or even real consequences.

Narration carries this story hard. I would have lost interest if it wasn’t for the talent.

The last few chapters did catch some interest and will make the next book a curiosity when I have a dry spell.

Great start

This was a great book! It help crave my fix for something the Unbound series that I just finished. Even if that wasn’t the case this book had a Dantes inferno vibe going on as well that kept me interested till the end. If your looking for a MC who of course a underdog/purest of the idea of might makes sense then here it is. Looking forward to book 2!

If you like super fast progression, this book is for you! The power system is well thought out and remarkably vast.
