Jewel E. Ann never disappoints

This is another great book by Julie Ann. I read it a few years ago and was excited to also get to listen to it again on audiobook. I love how all of her standalone books have characters that are actually connected.

Good but so painfully long

I enjoyed this book up to a point. It was well written and the narrators did great it was just way way too long. I felt like about halfway through it lost focus to the point where I questioned what the main story was even about. Also Lake’s mood swings I found inexplicable and jarring. Sort of like ok I don’t know where to go now with the story, let’s make her knowingly cause unnecessary drama… I don’t know. If given a second chance I’d skip this one.
