A little revenge is always fun

The story was cute. The miscommunication was utterly annoying but I felt like the story towards the end was so rushed. Chloe’s character was annoying the hot and cold constantly got old fast. I love Gus. He was such a sweet lumberjack. Im interested in the rest of the series still but im desperate to see some POV with the patriarch of the Hebert family. Hopefully as the series continues we see some. As always C.J and Aaron did a phenomenal job narrating this story

Surprisingly Funny

i found my self swooning, giggling (well, downright cackling) at parts of the book. I love the strength and sass Lila and the maturity and understanding of Owen. The narration was outstanding..

Terrible MFC

Great story but Chloe is absolutely horrible. She’s not nice to anyone, she’s irrational the entire time, she’s constantly pushing Gus away, she literally puts herself into every mess she’s in and her reaction is “I don’t know why everything is a mess”…. I do not know what he sees in her because she’s awful the ENTIRE story. Gus and the extra characters are the only things that got me through the story because man- she’s insufferable.

Chloe was so annoying. She behaved like a child instead of a 40 year old. I could not take anymore
