Very good book

Great book tell of young Arthur before he was the mountain man preacher. Very good read

I love this series

I really liked how Johnstone took us to Preachers beginning. Excellent story! Can hardly wait to read the next story in the series.

My first Johnstone Book

It was excellent, although not a genre that would normally interest me. Good story line, good narrator, and now I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. This book can be a good starting point for the series, although I haven't read any of the prior books, so that is just my opinion at this point. But well worth a credit or purchase.

exceptional performance

I think this idea lead to who Preacher is works well! His coming into the wild is a great lead into the understanding of the man he is now.

This story delves into the trappers life and life on the River. Also early settlements in the west.
