My brother's hitman broke down my door at midnight... Now, I'm addicted to the way he breaks all his rules.

They say Lance Knight bathes in blood money. That he's the devil who keeps my brother's empire running. The enforcer who can kill with just his bare hands.

I should be terrified when he becomes my shadow. Instead, I'm burning for the monster assigned to protect me. (Ten years of forbidden fantasies are finally within reach.)

Then the nightmares tear through me. His name rips from my throat in the dark. And suddenly he's there—all raw power and deadly grace.

One touch to chase away my fears. One kiss to unleash years of need. One night that ruins us both forever.

The Italians want war. My brother would kill him for touching me. And I just found out I'm carrying his baby.

Guess which secret will get us all killed first?

A devastatingly sinful, age-gap mafia romance featuring: a ruthless enforcer who breaks his sacred vow to never touch the boss's sister, an innocent princess whose forbidden night leads to an unexpected surprise, protection that spirals into dangerous addiction, and a baby secret that could start a mob war. Steam level: Straight to Hell

Book two in the Dangerous Gambit series. Each book features a complete story with its own HEA. For mature listeners.

The continuation of this trilogy continued on a well written trajectory with a solid plot. I did get irritated at Killian & his tantrum over Lance & Quinn, but loved how Natasha took control of the blow up and brought everyone together to see reason. I will say, it was a bit frustrating that Don Agosti was able to be steps ahead at every turn against arguably 2 formidable mafia families, but I get it helped the plot. I can’t wait to read Tatiana’s story so I can be pissed off at Lucian the parent murderer. Not sure how the author will ever redeem him. The narration was decent in this book.
