Once the Rift Magus, I was reborn as Lucian Eldraine, with my knowledge intact but my strength greatly diminished. Through trials and effort, I quickly reclaimed some of my lost powers—and even found some that were new.

I’ve also had time to make allies and enemies both, the latter of which have become hungry for vengeance and can call upon demons and worse, and won’t rest until they see me destroyed.

Yet amid these threats lies the opportunity to gain wealth, power, and influence, and I intend to claim all three.

Because I am the Rift Magus still, and I will rise once again, shattering any obstacle in my way.

I’ve done it before.

I’m already doing it again.

I like this series but the books are way too short for a credit, only 7hrs long when most of the books I get are 15-20hrs.
the singing was painful and went on for way too long, must of been 2-3 minutes of awful singing, if you are going to a bunch of useless content at least get someone who can sing in tune, especially when they meant to be a singer with a magical voice.

The singing was painfully bad.

The author tries to describe a song and voice that is supposedly beautiful.
But when the female narrator actually "sang" it was awful and grating.
It completely pulled me out of the immersion in an instant.

Stop singing.
