entertaining read

narrative needs much to be desired. Monotone and the inflection is off. Is English her first language?

It’s on Audible Plus.

It’s not too bad. I have trouble figuring out which character the narrator is reading since she does not distinguish enough between the two main characters. Since the series is on Audible Plus for now, I will continue on with the rest at the 1.4x. So far, I still have the same complaint for the second book.

Sooo yummy

Between the amazing vocals and the enchanting story I fell in love. Simple and clean this love story has everything a booktok needs to wish a girl away. Love listening and enjoying a cozy blanket and coffee on a relaxing day.

This book needed a better narrator

This book was cute, a little lacking on a deep story level and felt rushed but cute. Playboy with a troubled past and serious issues, meets nerdy self-conscious troubled past doctor. Throw in a douche bag rich guy who wants the doctor and who has the personality of a rock, with a gold digging girl and you get this book. There was some spice, a 2 out of 5 stars there. It's a good short read for cleansing the palette. The narrator wasn't the best at giving different voices for the different characters but also wasn't an AI voice.

Overall it was an enjoyable book, however it really needed a male narrator. The character was supposed to be a muscle bound big ol wolf shifter man, and I could not picture it with the offered narration. In my mind the mmc was a smaller feminine guy.
