Still going strong

Just as good as book one, highly recommend! Quick note, I think there was a chapter mix up in the middle of the book. Chapter's 21 and 22 (per narrator not the listed chapters as they don't account for the interludes)

Hilarious

Somehow this was even better than book 1. I highly recommend to anyone to anyone with ears.

chapter 22 & 23 in wrong order

if you read the book before listening to the audio book you can easily tell there's something wrong when chapter 22 starts in the middle of the card tournamentand instead of continuing in her clinic and meadin up to the tournament.

Story is okay, but

This book effectively renders 50% of the first book moot. So many set up plot points completely abandoned, and even more added in this book. The character changes dramatically with no real cause given, and the various B-plots are poorly explained. It's basically an outline of a Ravensdagger book, with some really uncomfortable scenes that delve into some fairly inappropriate tropes given the stated age of the character.

The one thing I can say positively is that there's no shameless plot progression, because that requires a plot. The writing is a fever dream and I've added this series, and likely this author to the DNF pile.

Could not finish

I do not get it.
The MC started out as an interesting character, but mid through book 2 it just gets cringy
