Baseball romance

Love baseball stories! Our hero is a bit of an ass for a lot of the book but part of the plot. Heroine is super sweet and despite her efforts still in love with him. Very swoon worthy HEA.

I Love A Good Baseball Romance

I won’t lie, I was skeptical at first thought it was going to be a “force yourself to get through” but from the first media conference, to the very last epilogue it had me. His determination to get her to talk to him and get her back was so imo nice and sweet did not really appreciate Lacey hiding something that big, but I understand the self sacrifice she did for him. I am a huge sucker for when one or the other does something so selfless, but when it involves a little human you also have to think for them. I held on to every word. Can’t wait for the next book on the series!!

Great Listen

This is my first book by this author, and I really surprised how much I loved this book.
Second Chance Hero is the perfect title for this one and lived up to the title.

It is a great second chance romance with so many feelings and emotions. The characters are lovable and make it easy to enjoy this story.

I loved this audio for the narrators and the way they brought this one to life with emotions.

smart women making dumb dumb dumb decisions

what I liked about this book I liked that the MMC was determined and went after his dreams. I like that the FMC kept going to her goal. what I did not like and I don't like period, as a mother myself, is that it's okay to allow a man to think that y'all protect it from pregnancy to infer to him that everything is okay when you damn well know that it's not and then when y'all break up and you find out you're pregnant you want to go and do the extra mile by not telling him over the phone but tell him in person and when you get there and see that he don't move down you want to punish him like y'all still in a relationship yes love got some stuff to do with it but at the end of the day when you become pregnant it's not about you anymore obviously experience of pregnancy should let you know that after all is it you controlling your morning sickness is it you who controlling your weight gain is it you controlling your Braxton Hicks or your contractions at this point I mean no it's not it's that baby and the fact that you can withhold the knowledge of this child just despite the man is completely idiotic now I understand your body your choice but when you make the choice to give birth to this child it's no longer your choice anymore that man have every right to be a part of that baby life the fact that he has to find out on his own as well as 4 years or 5 years later is incredibly selfish and and cruel and then the fact that as she's trying to make him leave so that he won't find out still she wants to apologize almost with the same breath of for keeping the secret from him yet she was still trying to keep the secret from him it's just this book was hard to read because of situations like that I just don't understand it you make the choice to lay down with this man when he was a baseball player in college but now you want to use his career as to why you didn't tell him he was a father yet you slept with him again without protection as well as inferring that you on birth control out of five stars I would have went to five just because of Aaron shedlock but I just couldn't you know I just couldn't the storyline completely baffles me you know yes she didn't wait until the end of the story to tell him but still and then she tries to turn it around on him as to why she didn't tell him because he broke up with her yeah yeah he did he has that right to break up with him you know what you want him to do string you alone then you say and then you say that you did not want him to be distracted by the child but yeah you okay with him being distracted by you if you would have kept in a relationship with you it's just I don't understand it I'm seriously though it's a good book overall it's just wow the MFC has some skewered moral ideas or rather has a screwed up moral compass. now the audience knows why her and her family is not talking to each other it's because they can't believe they raised a woman like her you know just Petty absolute Petty

Great story!

I really liked this book. The characters are a little dense but otherwise very likable.

The narrators are great!
