I was hooked immediately!!! Love this story and can’t wait to listen to second shield 2

greed and lack of value for life

Mack's overly fixated on the age difference was off putting and frustrating, especially since she was frothing at the mouth over the boy!!! Fact #1
never lie to yourself. Lie to others, but not to yourself. Because of jealousy and stupidity Mack almost lost her life turning the phone volume down. Smh!! Sometimes I think Mack's
tstl !!!!! Some very gutwrenching minutes. Gary was such a pig! Not happy with the ending and not going further. It's over in my mind!!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Blown Out of Waters

Wowza!!!! A very intense book that impacts you hard. The story holds you captivated and you are waiting to see what happens. Need a box of tissues for this book. Stacy did an astronomical job and this book deserves more than 5 stars!!! Loved it!!!

i enjoy this one Never read this author's work before and I am really enjoy it it was entertaining.

Engaging story

This author is a master of getting the reader/listener, involved in the story from the beginning to the end.
The story revolves around Mac/Mackenzie McAllister and Drew Bradley.
Mac is a Detective Sergeant who is surprised and not too happy to be assigned to show the “new kid” the workings of their squat.
Mac is unaware that Drew is more than it seems, an FBI agent sent undercover to investigate the squad.
Sparks fly between the two which troubles Mac since Drew is 12 years younger.
Classic Ms. Eaton, the story is told in the POV of both characters.
In the midst of the action and danger, feelings develop.
I am not a fan of cliffhangers, so I was a little disappointed at the end. That said, I did enjoy this audiobook.
