Dark Romcom!

I had been WAITING for this audio to drop!!
The narrators voices were spot on. The tones, every inflection… just felt so natural. Even the faster pacing felt perfectly matched to the fmc’s character layers.

“The man who walks in my shadow both frightens and excites me. It’s a delicate dance between the two emotions. “

A man who takes care of you in the shadows… He puts groceries in your fridge, does your laundry and brings you a heating pad… but also maybe sorta kinda might be hired to follow you by your competition 😬👀!

I really enjoyed this story, and the way it was told in a dual POV with a timeline style.

Deirdre and Cèsar have fun, witty, banter filled text threads that I ate up!!! And we get glimpses of each of their lives outside of their little bubble. We get immersed into D’s supportive friend group, as well as C’s family dynamic.

I loved how there was pcos rep in the story, especially in a realistic way. And I loved how the FMC was the crime family member and not the typical MMC (this has been more popular lately and I’m loviiiiing it! Additional rec for this: A Love Most Fatal… WHICH IS APPARENTLY A CROSSOVER?!?! Squealed in excitement about this!)

Such a fun stalker rom-com

This is my second read but the first listening to the audio! I love Doe and Scars chemistry and the storyline is really interesting. It’s a fun, sexy and quick read!

This was my fav book of 2025 so listening to it was perfect. Such a good listen

BETTER

This was a top read for me for 2025. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this book for months and I KNEW the audio was gonna be just as good.
I was wrong cause it was sooo much better than I expected.
Both Narrators did an amazing job and I will be looking for their other works cause...wow!
Shadowed Obsession just went from one of my fav books to also one of my fav audiobooks!

100% listened for César

I was already obsessed with this book; the audiobook just made me love it tenfold.
The narrators blew my mind with their performance; they had me laughing and giggling aloud from the start. They nailed all the sexy banter and every hilarious scene.
Hearing César’s POV and him switching to Spanish every now and then had me swooning and grinning like an idiot.
