Disappointing

Smultzy! I usually love Spencer books, but this one does not live up to her talent.

Great old fashioned love story!

I just love a great old fashioned love story by LaVyrle Spencer. And I loved going back in time from 2024 to sometime in the 1980’s in Minnesota. This book did not disappoint and I could relate to the struggle the main character had. I had the same struggle when I was 19 years old in 1987 living in New Brighton MN. I wish I’d the courage to do the same.

I have read this book many times. I’m a fan of Laveryl Spencer. This audio book is so sanitized that it does not have the tender feeling of first love. I’m very disappointed,

This is an abridged version

I was very disappointed to discover that this audiobook was abridged. I've read this book and enjoyed it many times, so this was a real let down.
