These are powerful monsters with a dangerous job to do, protecting the human world from the things that slither in the dark, but they need a final female mate to complete their roost and produce their heirs.

All of which means I have to decide whether to stay with these delicious, feral males who love to share a bed and each other, or whether to condemn the rest of the world to the darkness.

But I have to make the choice, because the war is coming and it might just rip us apart before we even begin.

Loved the entire story, can't wait for book 2!

I'm so bad at writing these, but I really enjoyed this book. The story and the narration flowed really well together. The dynamic between the characters was sweet, I don't want to give any spoilers.

Story was nice

Writing was weird - like a studded step- It just didn’t always flow. But overall, easy listen

Different story, i love the world in between and lower world, but it wasn't clear enough how the travel (wings i suppose, and the others?)
The fmc was stubborn (a little bit annoying), males different and authentic characters, love how the Alpha takes care all of them, but it sometimes felt flat, missing more... Plot? Detailed description? Don't know if I will continue the series.

Really bad

This author stuffed what could be a very interesting story in between spice scenes. I was excited to learn about a magic series that involves gargoyles or anything about the world they live in. Instead random plot is put in between unnecessary sexual descriptions/scenes. It feels like AI writing and the performance was not done well.
