The Empire is crumbling, an invasion is coming, and McGill’s easy ride through life and death has come to an end.

why haven't they permed him yet. humanity would probably live at least another 100 years

Enjoyable series

Reviewing the first 3 in the series. The lead hero is annoying and lucky. The story and action gets pretty repetitive. Overall I will continue with the series if I find them on sale for <~ $7 max. It's worth checking out.

Loved it. second time listening to this book and still look forward to listen to it again.

Flawless writing & narration

BV Larson did it again. A sci-fi piece with a GREAT story. So many modern sci-fi writings conceal a poor storyline with overly abstract worlds or internal debate. I use to love Card; but Larson just blows him out of the water. Just listen for yourself!
