After finding an abandoned, ancient fortress inside a focus, the Richters turn it into their headquarters and a training camp for their new army.

It's becoming harder and harder to conceal the truth. A big war is right around the corner.

I don't know why I like this series. The main character is a Mary sue who succeeds at everything, but they put enough challenge in the world for him because he can't be everywhere at once. This leads in to some interesting political problem solving. The world building is good, and this one leads them outside the city, setting up for an entire new plan for the future. Very good, but it shouldn't be...

This one expands on them breaking free from the city, setting up for an entire new story arc.

This series still keeps going

I greatly enjoyed this book. Max has somewhat retreated in the corruption to prepare his grand plan. Can’t wait for more.

Bad ass

These books remind me of the Penny Dreadful books, where the story doesn't end, you just buy the next issue to continue the story. This book was the most pronounced of that, it started at exactly where the previous book ended. Frankly this could be included with the last story and it would have fealt normal, not overly long and have more of a conclusion. Since they are translated from German, it could be that the layout makes more sense in the native language.
I love the character development of this writer. They are amusing and the story breathes life into the zombie genre, without holding to its boundaries. The action is just quick enough to keep you reading, past your bedtime, without being the only focus of the story. Overall its a wonderful junk food read.

I love the Characters

Good as always; they are doing a bit more world-building, but it is still short. I would like it to be longer with more world and clan building.

Good
