Enjoyable but just a bit slow.

Disgraced second son of a Duke, Robert finds work as a gamekeeper on an estate - there he meets stammering Frederica and their love story begins. I'm a sucker for anything with a 'Rake' in it but I just don't know how I feel about this book, it had romance, a fair plot and some undesirable characters but I listened to it on double speed to get through it.

Yes I enjoyed it, but I found the story just a bit too slow once they 'succumbed' to their desires.

Loved this book

This is a new author for me and I loved the story and narration. I look forward to more books by this author. I didn’t want to put this book down.
