From the New York Times bestselling author of Just for the Summer comes a romantic comedy about how one adorable puppy brings together two perfect strangers.

"The Happy Ever After Playlist tackles love after loss with fierce humor and fiercer heart." —Casey McQuiston, New York Times bestselling author of Red, White & Royal Blue

Artist Sloan Monroe just can't seem to get her life on track. But one troublemaking pup who randomly jumps into her car with a ""take me home"" look in his eyes is about to change everything. With Tucker by her side, Sloan finally starts to feel more like herself. Then, after weeks of unanswered texts, Tucker's owner reaches out. He's a musician on tour in Australia. And bottom line: He wants Tucker back.

Well, Sloan's not about to give up her dog without a fight. But what if this Jason guy really loves Tucker? As their flirty texts turn into long calls, Sloan can't deny a connection. Jason is hot, nice, and funny. There's no telling what could happen when they meet in person. The question is: With his music career on the rise, how long will Jason really stick around? And is it possible for Sloan to survive another heartbreak?

This book made me walk around with a big stupid grin on my face while I listened with my earbuds in.
Funny. Sweet. Sexy. And heart felt. I will probably listen to it a second time and listen to the songs at the head of each chapter before I read the chapter. But I was too impatient to get on with the story to do it the first time. I really hope someone has a Spotify playlist of theses songs

Really loved the readers too.

Truly a feel good story

AUDIO 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

BOOK 🌟🌟🌟🌟

First of all the audio was amazing just like friend zone.

I have read so many mixed reviews on this book people saying that Sloan is now like Kirsten and not what they expected.

I don’t agree with this, first of all Kristen would have jumped straight in and I think she have recovered quicker than Sloan based on personalities. I think that Sloan is different from first book but what do people expect she lost the guy who she thought was going to be her life, of course your going to change.

I loved Jason from the beginning he was sweet and understanding and I think exactly what she needed.

The way Tucker the dog came into her life I think helped her and I thought it was so funny.

The second half of the book was harder to listen to only cause that where a lot more issues started for them and thought a lot was hit at them but a book need drama and this book give it.

Sloan story!!

I don’t give a 5 star review lightly. The book has to be more than an enjoyable read. There needs to be aspects that would bring me back to reread and enjoy again. This book had these things that make me certain to visit with it again - characters that were likeable, believable and complex, emotional tugs that tempted me to jump ahead to make certain that everyone would be ok, humour interwoven in the drama, enough complexity to the story arc that I felt pulled through the storyline, and an engaging dog.

My strong advice is to read the prequel to this book first, not only to give yourself the experience of another really great read, but to better understand and enjoy this book.

I hope Ms Jimenez has another book awaiting publication.

A satisfying emotional experience.
