To anyone looking on, it would appear that a certain very young count is beset by too many enemies, especially considering that his Gift has nothing to do with combat. It’s as if the northern region that houses his county is a magnet for offworld invaders. But his enemies also include his competitors, and, of course, neighboring aristocrats who seek to seize the lands and assets of this impudent upstart, this Count Bulatov.

Only what does the count himself think about all this? It would seem that he shrugs off any concerns. You see, he knows full well that it is he who is a threat to his enemies. And if they fail to understand this, that's their problem.

This and "The Dark Healer" are among my favorite litrpg series, and it keeps getting better.
It has none of the political agenda and social grandstanding that taint this genre, and the author knows how to write a competent MC that is actually intelligent and not a pushover. Russian authors are among the few litrpg writers that actually know what "fun" and "entertainment" means these days. The genre is at its best as a kickass power fantasy and escapism from real life bullshit.
I'm really looking forward to the next book to come out!

“I really enjoyed The Healer’s Way! The storyline had me hooked, and the pacing was just right. As a self-proclaimed loot goblin, I loved the balance of looting throughout the book—it always hit the sweet spot. My only gripe? I wish it were longer! I think combining two books or giving us a 16-to-18-hour listen would be perfect. Still, it’s a great balance overall!

Still going strong with plenty of shenanigans - can’t wait for the next book; nice to also see him get a few new external allies this time around too

Still going strong
