The Lifestyle Business Owner reveals how ordinary people can buy a small business in their community, earn a six-figure income, and make the business run without them.

Aaron Muller, founder of Lifestyle Business Owner Academy, reveals the three-step formula he utilized to go from a kid who didn't attend college to the owner of eight companies that run without him. Now it’s your turn to discover the secrets to owning a business that gives you the financial freedom, lifestyle, and contribution you desire.

Really enjoyed this book. I’ve been an entrepreneur since car washes at age 9. 35 now and have had many start ups and side hustles. I never really thought about this angle of buying a business that’s up and running. The author does a really good job of getting your creative angles flowing and makes a great case for going this path rather then starting all on your own. Looking into a total different space thanks to this book and excited to see where it takes me. Thank you Aaron! Great job.

Great book for intro and advanced

This is one of the only books I found, specifically written for folks, who would like to acquire a business, but not operate it full-time. In that sense, this was very helpful.

I would say, my two primary criticisms would be:

1. The whole middle of the book is about business management principles. As good as those are, there are many other books that focus more specifically on those. Would have been more helpful to focus more on the purchase itself and the specifics of how to run it without being full-time.

2. He definitely borders on preaching a left-wing approach to business as it relates to ESG. Not overly obnoxious, but still unnecessary.

Not enough about running the business through an operator

I’m currently looking to purchase a business and this strategy was eye opening. Find a business for sale, spend some time improving it, put a manager in place, then rinse and repeat. Not to mention the great info on how to value a business and/or use a business broker to make sure you are paying a good price. Great info!

It’s the everyday persons simple application to what you already know. Diversify , small steps , compounding growth to your business and keeping you family’s mental health life first. Why be rich and stressed , when you can be simple and happy . I read this twice

Practical application with straight answers

The author reiterates points often from chapter to chapter which is less desirable to me, but may help instill the information in your memory. I liked the readers voice, and the direction of the book.

Informative
